Oregon Trail Rec District Gridiron Football Club! These are our Burley teams. We will be playing in the South Central Idaho Football League. We will play teams around the Mini-Cassia & Magic Valley area; East Minico, West Minico, Declo, Oakley, Raft River, Filer, Jerome, Twin Falls, Kimberly, Gooding, Buhl, & Wood River. We will start the season off with a Jamboree which is scheduled to be Saturday, August 24th location TBD. We will play on Saturday mornings & afternoons from September 7th-October 12th, 2024. No games will be played on Labor Day weekend August 31st. Practices will start the end of July-Early August 2024.
If this is your son/daughter's first year playing they will need to get a Sports Physical. You can go to any urgent care or to your family doctor. Please turn in or email a copy of the physical to jvanbiezenotrd@gmail.com The physicals will be good for two years.
All players will receive a football helmet, shoulder pads, football pants, mouth piece, and practice jersey, which all will need to be returned after the season. They will get a game jersey that they get to keep. All equipment not returned you will be invoiced out to pay for that equipment or until returned. Helmets $150, Shoulder Pads: $45, Pants: $35, Practice Jersey: $20
